Javier Garcia Vico signed a two-year deal with Aprilia on Sunday.
Speculations finally came to an end when the Spaniard agreed terms to ride the revolutionary bike in the 2004 and 2005 Motocross World Championship. One-time Grand Prix winner Vico, who finished on the podium of the 650 class 12 out of 12 times this past season, starts testing this week.
Also on Sunday young Italian Manuel Poggiali successfully defended Aprilia´s 250cc Road Racing world title at Valencia, Spain. It´s been title No. 22 for the manufacturer from Noale.
